For Teens: Welcome to the Greene Baptist Youth Group!
The Greene Baptist Youth Group is a place where you can have fun, hang out, and learn about God with other people in your own age group.
Our goal in the group is to grow spiritually while having fun doing it. We'll examine passages in the Bible and discuss them amongst ourselves. This isn't a classroom! It is talking between friends! By thoughtfully considering God's Word, we will see how God moves us all in different ways.
We'll also learn about prayer and praying by doing so together as a group, and in private moments by ourselves. You'll find out how rewarding talking to God can be! Praying is much more than reciting a memorized prayer!
We have regularly scheduled game nights, outings, and group outings like Superbowl. At our weekly meetings, we have food, play games, have contests, most of all we have fun!

For Parents: The Greene Baptist Youth Group is committed to enabling teens to build a strong, personal relationship with Christ. We provide a safe, moral environment for youth to socialize with their Christian peers. We teach them that they are not alone.
We worship the Lord, engage in group and personal prayers, and discuss scripture with real life applications. Our discussion times are open to everyone to contribute, everyone is touched differently by scripture, and everyone has valuable observations to make. We encourage spiritual growth through mission support, evangelism, hospitality, and other life transforming activities.
At the same time, we are here to have fun. Through interactive games, field trips, and group activities, we encourage our teens to stand against the world. We encourage teens to bring their friends. Our goal is to show teens that they can follow God's will and still have fun in their lives.
About Our Youth Leaders
Youth Pastor Josh and Jesse Rose are a young couple who have a desire to work with youth.They were married at the Greene Baptist Church in June of 2004.Josh has many years of experience working at Christian summer camps, youth events, inner-city youth programs, as well as coaching gymnastics.Josh is currently in his senior year at Liberty University finishing a degree in psychology.Josh and Jesse are committed to teach and enable youth to establish and develop a strong relationship with Christ.
Rick Ducharme and Erica Perron have been assisting Josh and Jesse with the youth group due to it's growth over the past few years. Their desire and commitment to serve the Lord and teach our youth have made them a blessing not only our Youth Pastor and his wife, but also to our teens.
