People were bringing little children to Jesus to have him touch them, but the disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it." And he took the children in his arms, put his hands on them and blessed them. Our Sunday School Preschool class introduces our children to God through stories, singing, crafts and fun. This fall our little ones will learn about Moses, Samuel, and David. Through these Old Testament figures they will see that God cares about them, provides for them and protects them. The children will understand that God cares about his people.
The children will also learn about obedience. They will see how important it is to listen to God and obey His word.
Finally, our little learners will see how important it is to love others the way God loves us.
Parents and Grandparents will have an opportunity to see what the children are learning at Celebration Station, held prior to the regular Sunday service on the 1st Sunday of each month. Celebration Station runs from 9:30 to 10:30 AM. They are a time to come together and celebrate the family of God. There will be sharings from our class, and special music from the "Kidz Choir". Birthdays and aniversaries will be acknowledged and there will be refreshments and fellowship with the students, teachers, parents and grandparents!

September, 2007: We Meet Moses! (Book of Exodus)
Week 1: God protects baby Moses and his family. Week 2: God instructs Moses to lead His people from Egypt. Week 3: God parts the sea to protect His people from the Egyptian armies. Week 4: God provides water and food for His people as Moses leads them through the desert.
October, 2007: We Meet Samuel! (Book of 1st Samuel)
Week 1: Talking to God like Hannah! Week 2: Samuel, Hannah's son, obeyed God by learning to be a helper at the tabernacle. Week 3: Samuel shows his love to the Lord by listening to and obeying His word. Week 4: Samuel loves God, so he obeys Him.
November, 2007: We Meet David! (Book of 1st Samuel)
Week 1: David shows his love by helping his family care for the sheep. Week 2: David shoes God's love and did good by bringing food to his brothers. Week 3: David was kind to King Saul by playing his harp for him. Week 4: David shows God's love to King Saul when Saul was not kind to him..
