Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity. 1st Timothy 4:12
The Weekly Blurb!

3/16 Weekly Blurb

One word - practicum
I'm so busy in school that i have very little time for anything else, and between school and work elise also has no time.

Last weeks update is simple though so here it is:

For the past two weeks we have been working on the Easter program. You guys have been doing a wonderful job! Please remember to learn your lines this week and come to Sunday School at 8:45 so that we will have time to run through it one last time before the program. The program is next week on Easter during Sunday School time, so that means it starts at 9:30. Have a great week everyone and I'll see you on Sunday!

Memory Verses

Romans 8:38-39

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

John 15:5

I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

John 14: 16-17

And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever— the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.

1 John 1: 9-10

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word has no place in our lives.

Ephesians 2:8

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.

Ephesians 2:10

For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Brandi L. exclaimed: I am having a super time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brandi N. replied: I'm so glad!!!!! But is there anything that would make it super duper?

Anonymous asked: Will we get to do stuff outside?

Brandi answered: Yes we will do activities outside, weather permitting!

Megan asked: What do you guys do here?

Brandi answered: Well the main thing is learning more about God. But I have a feeling the question is more about our day. So, first thing we catch up, we talk and find out how everyone week was. Next we then have an opening with Gails class, we say the pledges, take prayer requests and pray. Then we dive into our lesson, it differs every week but usually includes some sort of moving around so we don't just sit all class. That is a normal Sunday! Hope you come back again!

Who Are Brandi & Elise?

We are two college sophomores who hate to wear shoes, yet love to own them. Elise goes to Central Maine Community College in Auburn, while Brandi goes to the University of Maine at Farmington. Brandi's dream is to teach high school history. We both have been Sunday School “teacher’s helpers” for years and are now finally getting the chance to teach our own class. Among the teachers we helped, we are the first to bring 21st century technology into our classroom. When we were our students' ages, and a bit older, we spent our Sunday School Classes putting gum in Barbie dolls' hair, hauling high-chairs up three flights of stairs, and trying to talk about why dogs stick their heads out of car windows. That may seem a bit odd but there really were lessons we learned, we promise. We are using the same books that these lessons came from and hopefully they will remember them in years to come just like we do.

A great place to put in a word and find every verse that contains that word. I use it all the time to find verses that I know exist but have forgotten where they reside.
