American Baptist Women
Are Collectiong for "White Cross"
The ABW is collecting money to send to the Philippines to purchase cloth remnants and patchwork pieces for women's Christian sewing groups. Sewing kits cost $4 in the Philippines. Wome served by Christian centers use cloth and patchwork pieces to make useful items for their families nd to sell for a small income. As the wome work together, they share their stories and become a support group for one another. Christian staff share the Gospel as wome work and enjoy fellowship together.
